Washington County noxious weed tour will be held June 10

The Lower Weiser River Cooperative Weed Management Area in conjunction with Washington County Weed Control is hosting the 20th Annual County Noxious Weed Tour on Thursday, June 10, 2021.  
 Registration begins at 7 a.m. with the program beginning at 8 a.m. at the Weed Department, located at 1118 E. Court Street, Weiser, Idaho.  
 The 2021 tour will include the new Idaho Rangeland Resource Commission’s IROAM educational trailer, a drone presentation with on board spray equipment and numerous stops within the 2020 Woodhead Fire boundary.
 Those presenting will focus a great deal of their presentations on “after the fire” and how it has impacted the range and noxious weed issues as well as how targeted grazing compliments many weed control programs.  
 The tour will conclude with four Idaho pesticide recertification credits offered to Idaho licensed pesticide applicators.
 Transportation and lunch is provided at no charge compliments of the Lower Weiser River CWMA.
