Traditions Martial Arts teaches students the art of self-defense

With several years of martial arts under his belt, John Schmitz has decided to add a martial arts dojo to his auto body shop.
 Schmitz’s dojo, Traditions Martial Arts, focuses on the martial arts style Tang Soo Do, based on the Korean Soo Bahk Do style and the Chinese Kung Fu style. The martial art began with Grand Master Hwang Kee combining the two styles and beginning teaching in Seoul in 1945.
 The style was brought to Weiser by Luis Negrete and was instructed by him until 2016, when he passed the torch to Schmitz.
