Memorial Hospital honors first DAISY award recipient

Weiser Memorial Hospital nurse Shawna Slyter-Pitman was recently honored as the hospital’s first ever DAISY Foundation Nurse Award recipient during a small special ceremony.
 An acronym for “diseases attacking the immune system,” the DAISY award was created to recognize the unforgettable kindness and impact a nurse’s care offers their patients.
