The Washington County Fair started on Monday and will continue through Saturday with daily events to take in at the fairgrounds.
In addition to the fair exhibits and youth livestock shows and sale, the Cambridge Rodeo Association also puts on an action-packed rodeo three nights during fair week starting on Thursday at 8 p.m.

Local events for anyone with the registration fee include junior and novice barrels on Thursday and Friday and steer riding and mutton bustin’ on all three nights of the rodeo.
At the fair, judging of the many exhibit entries will take place all day on Wednesday. Ribbons will be awarded to the winners.
Also on Wednesday, the swine show will be held in the new show and sale building. The show starts at 8 a.m. The meet, dairy and pygmy goat show will follow the swine show in the afternoon.
Entires in the flower, horticulture and agriculture check in from 9 a.m. until noon on Thursday at the exhibit hall. The judging takes place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. From Wednesday through Saturday, the exhibit hall will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The 4-H and FFA project animal shows continue on Thursday with sheep show, dairy cattle and breeding beef. The livestock barn will be open for the public to meet the youth and see their projects.
Stick around for the first night of the rodeo at 8 p.m. at the rodeo arena. The rodeo continues on Friday night and Saturday night.
On Friday, the beef show starts at 8 a.m. The dog show will take place at the grass arena. At 3 p.m. the small animal round robin will be held at the show and sale barn.
Saturday is another busy day at the fair. The 4-H and FFA youth will be preparing their animals for the livesock sale that starts a 2 p.m. The best of the best 4-H and FFA animals will compete in the round robin of champions at 9 p.m.
