Excess Vaccine Picked Up For Remaining Tier One Health Professionals

Weiser Memorial Hospital received the first round of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine on Dec. 18. According to Family Medical Clinic Manager Madora Albertson everyone who was administered the vaccine were part of the Tier 1 workers which included health care professionals, first responders and hospital staff. As of Tuesday, Dec. 22, four vials were left. The Pfizer vaccine is viable up to five days.
