Crab Feed event a success

Karen Strong and Matt Haught were eager to dig into some crab during the Weiser Chamber of Commerce’s annual Crab Feed held Saturday, April 2. Over 300 hungry seafood lovers filed into the Vendome Events Center in downtown Weiser where barbecue pork ribs were also served. Organizers brought in about 600 pounds of crab and 200 pounds of ribs for the event. The Crab Feed is the Chamber’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the proceeds supporting its annual operating budget.
