Car stolen from church parking lot recovered

A car stolen from a Weiser church parking lot on March 26 was recovered a short while later in Annex, Ore.

 The driver parked the car in the Weiser Community Church parking lot as she was unloading items to serve lunch to the needy. 

 The owner returned to find the car missing and notified police at about 11:30 a.m.

 The Weiser Police Department responded to the report of a stolen vehicle.

 The stolen vehicle was recovered about an hour later with the help of the Oregon State Police in Annex, according to WPD. 

 Two suspects have been identified, including a 24-year-old female and 37-year-old male of Weiser. Both were booked into the Malheur County Jail and are awaiting court hearings on charges of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary.
