Theola Marie Wainscott Wilkins

Theola Marie Wainscott Wilkins, 80, of Weiser, Idaho passed away Sept. 10, 2021 at Weiser Memorial Hospital.  
 She was born July 7, 1941 in San Francisco, Calif.
 Theola graduated from Capuchino High School in San Bruno, California in 1959.
 Theola worked in management positions most of her life, working at Maverik and Bo’s Barn. She also worked in school districts when her children were young. Her final employer was Walmart in Ontario, Ore., for about 18 years as a Star Checker. They wanted her as a CSM but she was happy as checker. She received many awards for her “Star Checker” position. She retired from Walmart approximately 2017.
 Theola had two marriages, her first husband was Jerry Wilkins and her second was Don Wilkins whom she remained married to until his death on Nov. 25, 2012.
 Theola was blessed with four children: Geraldine “Gidget” M. Wensel, John B. Wilkins, Alan Wilkins (deceased) 1962-1964, Lanette Dawn Wilkins.
 She is survived by her sister, Viola Mae Waiscott Sawyer. Nephew, James Sawyer. Nine grandchildren, Challene Vi Shoun, Carie Wilkins-Lawrence, Kayla Wilkins-McFetridge, Trisha Wilkins, Steven Longfellow, David Lavy, Terrance James “TJ” Lavy, Ashley Wilkins-Ixta, Corey Scharbrough. 23 great-grandchildren, Tyler James Shoun (Challene’s), Jazlyn Lavy (TJ’s), Khamila Ixta, Sebashton Ixta, Ivy Nevaeh Ixta (Ashley’s children), Lylianna Cruz, Santana Cruz (Trisha’s children), Aiden Lawrence, Ashlyn Lawrence (Carie’s children), Brantlie McFetridge, Adahlei McFetridge (Kayla’s children), Madison Longfellow, Kylie Longfellow, Mckaylei Longfellow, Olivia Longfellow (Steven’s children), Hannah Lavy, Dominick Lavy, David Lavy, Cloey Lavy, Eddie Lavy, Neva Lavy, Elijah Lavy, Kaden Lavy (David’s children). Great-great-grandchild Adelynn Michelle Martin (Cloey’s).
 Graveside services were held Sept. 28, 2021 at Hillcrest Cemetery at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steve Penner officiating. A reception followed services at the Weiser Community Church.
