Manuel C. Olvera

Manuel C. Olvera, 64, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
 Even though his family was not able to be with him, they are certain he went peacefully.
 He was born Sept. 18, 1955, in Stanton, Tex., to Dionisio and Alicia Olvera.
 Manuel married the love of his life, Rose Valdez, in 1973 and they raised three sons.
 Manuel retired after working over 30 years at Simplot.
 He loved camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.
 Manuel experienced a lot of loss in his life, yet he kept plugging away the best he knew how. He was a very loving and caring man, doing what he could to help those around him.
 Manuel is survived by his three sons, Isacc, David, Adam (Shelley); granddaughter, Lavita; great-granddaughter, Alice; siblings, Consuelo Lopez (Pete), Anna Loos (David), Albert Olvera (Mary) and Telesforo Olvera (Ofelia); several nieces and nephews.
 He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; sisters, Esperanza Cano, Delfina Huerta, Ofelia Olvera; brother, Miguel (Mike) Olvera; nephew, David Huerta; niece, Mary Zesiger; and grandparents.
 We love you. You will be missed.
