Letter: Weiser resident happy with ramp built by WHS students

I would like everyone to
know what a great program
we have in the carpentry
classes at the high school.
For over a year I have required
a walker to move
about. Up and down stairs is a
major project even with help.
My husband likes to say
that “old age is not for sissies”
and at 81 years old I
can testify to that.
Thanks to Jon Lundberg
and his students, I can now
go outside by myself using
the ramp they built in our
back yard. It looks nice, is
extremely well-built and allows
me to go outside and
enjoy our beautiful spring
weather.

Weiser School District for
making this possible.
