Harold William Golden

Harold William Golden passed away Jan. 7, 2019, at age 89, in The Dalles, Oregon.
 He was born in Boise, Idaho to William (Bill) and Gladys Golden.
 Harold was a long-time resident of Weiser, Idaho. He graduated from New Meadows High School in 1948. Harold served in the United States Army for 4 years. 
 He worked as a logger, a farmer (on the family farm), and he finished his working career at the county road department in Weiser, Idaho.
 Harold was a big fan of Boise State University football and the Seattle Seahawks. He enjoyed camping, picking huckleberries, and reloading his own ammo. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
 Harold is survived by his sister Katherine R. Foley (Dave) of Goldendale, Wash., his niece Melissa Howtopat (Donovan), his nephews, Charlie Foley and David Foley III, his great-nephews Jordan Foley, Macaw Howtopat, and Ivan Howtopat, his great-niece Kateri Howtopat, his great-great-nephew and buddy Nahpasis Howtopat, and numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
 Harold was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Gladys Golden.
 A Celebration of Life will be held at the Weiser Christian Church on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019 at 1 p.m., followed by graveside services at Hillcrest Cemetery, and finishing with a potluck reception back at the Weiser Christian Church.
