Harold Norman Wolcott

Harold Norman Wolcott passed away Feb. 21, 2020 at the age of 90.
 Norman was born April 11, 1929, to Harold William Wolcott and Lenora Christine Weeks in Shoshone, Idaho.
 He was preceded in death by brother Glen Raymond Wolcott; he also has a sister Phyllis Lean.
 Norman worked for the U.S. weather bureau, which is now known as NOAA, until he retired. He never wasted a minute thereafter.
 He built some of the most beautiful rifles, lock, stock and barrel. He taught himself to oil paint and he also wrote some very “cool” western stories.
 Norman was an avid hunter and fisherman. As a child, Norm spent time in a sheepherder’s camp with his dad.
 Norman leaves behind two sons; Norman Bradley Wolcott (Debbie), Harold Allen Wolcott (Melynda); four step-children, Bill, Jerry, Don and Linda; four grandchildren, Lena Marie Musso, Jason Bradley Wolcott, Robin Lee Wolcott and Parker Allen Wolcott; four great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Griffin, Jacob and Laura; one great-great- grandchild Colt.
 Norm, you were loved by many and will be forever missed.
 There will be a graveside service on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, 215 East Indianhead Road, Weiser Idaho, 83672.
