Charlee Minon Meister

Charlee Minon Meister, 36, passed away June 21, 2022 in Rock Springs, Wyoming due to health complications. 
 Charlee was born July 18, 1985 in Chehalis, Wash. 
 At the age of 3 years, Charlee, along with her sister Monica, were placed with their grandparents, Walt and Bev Meister, who later adopted them. From then, Charlee grew up in Toledo, Wash., where she learned to cook, sew, and garden at a young age. 
 She started singing professionally with Monica and they traveled to numerous performances while being homeschooled, and eventually recorded several albums in numerous studios all over including Nashville, Tenn. 
 At the age of 18, Charlee joined the United States Air Force in Security Forces. She was honorably discharged in 2008. She often talked about her time in the Air Force as some of the best years of her life and the close bond she had with her comrades. 
 Charlee enjoyed camping, the  outdoors and farm life. 
 She loved her family and country most of all. If you asked her where her favorite place was, she would respond she was happiest where ever her family was, that’s where she wanted to be.
 Charlee was preceded in death by her father, Walt (2014) and brother Steve (2021). 
 She leaves behind her mother Bev (Toledo, Wash.), sister Monica Greenwood (Weiser, Idaho) and several nieces and nephews.
 A celebration of life for Charlee will be held July 24, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the home of her sister, Monica Greenwood in Weiser, Idaho with Air Force Honor Guard and ceremony
