Antone L. ‘Tony’ Dille

Antone L. “Tony” Dille, 72, passed from this life to be with the Lord, on Nov. 5, 2018 at the Life Care Center of Longmont, Colo., after a short but courageous fight with brain cancer. 
 Tony was born May 17, 1946 in Weiser, Idaho to Kermit and Mary Dille.
 Tony graduated from Weiser High School and the University of Idaho, where he met Penny Hegge. They were married on June 5, 1971 in Spokane, Wash. 
 He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. 
 Tony and his family moved from Southern Idaho to Longmont, Colo., in 1983 where they lived until 2012. Tony retired from Elevations Credit Union in October 2012 after suffering a massive stroke that left him permanently disabled. He and Penny moved to Mead, Colo., in 2013. 
 Tony was a long-time, member of LifeBridge Christian Church in Longmont. 
 Tony was known and loved for his kind heart and his great sense of humor. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in various sports activities. Time spent with his children and grandchildren was the greatest joy in his life.
 Tony is survived by wife, Penny, of Mead, Colo., his son Scott and daughter-in-law Sarah of Holyoke, Colo., and his daughter Traci Haley and son-in- law Ted of Mead, Colo., his grandchildren Grace, Tate, Levi and Abigail Dille, Darby and Delaney Haley, his mother, Mary Dille of Weiser, Idaho, his sisters and brothers-in-law Shirley and Dean Williamson and Christy and Mike Stender of Weiser, Idaho and numerous niece and nephews. 
 He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit L. Dille.
 A celebration of Tony’s life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. at LifeBridge Christian Church, 10345 Ute Highway, Longmont, Colo. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
 In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to The Tony Dille Memorial Fund to help with the education of his beloved grandchildren, c/o Ahlberg Funeral Chapel or to A Woman’s Work awoman’
