Annette Van Landingham was born March 3, 1931 in Apple Valley, Idaho to William Lynn Van Landingham and Myrtle Marie  (Morgan) Van Landingham.
Annette was the first born of six children, three boys and three girls.
She would say she was a sickly child for the first few years of her life and lived with her Grandma Van Landingham during those years.
Annette grew up in the Apple Valley area, attending schools in Parma and Notus until her family moved to Cambridge, Idaho in 1947. She was very unhappy with this move because she had to change schools again, but ended up grateful as she was able to finish two years in one place.  Their marriage welcomed son Russell Mink (1954) and Rebecca (Mink) Peschong (1957).
Annette was involved in numerous things: church activities, Valley View Club, Bible studies and leading youth groups, but her most important was raising her two children.
Annette waitressed at Bucky’s Café for several years and it is said, you always knew where she was because you could hear her laughing.
Annette was a great friend, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She loved the ocean and playing with her grandkids in the creek at Lake Fork.
Annette was an avid reader, learning to read at the age of 5, and could be found reading and doing her crossword puzzles with a cup of coffee in her hand, only after her home was cleaned and laundry was hung.
Riggins, Idaho was her final home where she lived with her daughter Becca and her beloved dog Jack.
Annette died peacefully of natural causes at 91 years young, surrounded by her family in her grandson’s home in Meridian, Idaho. The body may have failed her, but her mind was sharp till the end.
Annette loved her siblings, children, and so loved all of her grandkids, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
