Wolverines continue winning streak

Weiser got three games in this past week with a doubleheader vs McCall and a non-league competition with 3A Parma. These three games were all winners for the Wolverines continuing their now four game winning streak.
 Weston Black started out on the mound for Weiser and went four and two-thirds innings.  Black struck out 11 batters and recorded three hits and three runs during the contest.
 Weiser scored in the first inning on an error but McCall responded by adding two runs.
 A double by Lance Albertson gave the Wolverines the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the third.
 Weiser scored six runs on four hits in the bottom of the fourth inning when the bats came alive. Cole Ingle singled, scoring two runs, Black doubled, scoring two runs, Kaden LaChapelle doubled, scoring one run, and Paisley Noyer hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
 Ingle collected three hits in four at bats for the Wolverines. Ingle singled in the fourth inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the first inning. 
 Telsyn Hawker came in for relief on the mound.  He threw two and one-third innings of shutout ball for the Wolverines in relief. The reliever allowed zero hits, striking out five and walking one.
 Weiser had nine hits total in the game and took first base on walks nine times as well. Kaghen Cluff went two for three at the plate. Noyer and Wyatt Black led the team with two walks each. Black and Cluff each stole multiple bases for the Wolverines. Weiser also collected seven stolen bases during the contest to win 12-3.
Weiser 17 - McCall 1
 Weiser went again against McCall and won that one handily as well. Weiser had 11 hits total, scored 17 runs and collected 12 RBIs. Hot bats for the Wolverines included Lance Hart who went one for one as well as Lance Albertson and Kolt Sarich. Telsyn Hawker went two for three, Wyatt Black went one for two, while Cole Ingle and Kaden LaChapelle hit two for five.  Leading the RBIs for the Wolverines was Wyatt Black with three.
 Defensively the Wolverines didn’t have a single error on the night. LaChapelle got the start on the mound for Weiser and threw three innings recording just one hit, no runs, no strikeouts and just one walk.  Ingle came in for relief and went the remaining two innings played.  He recorded one hit, one run, two walks and no strikeouts. Weiser finished the game 17-1.
Weiser 17 - Parma 7
 Weiser then took on Parma who was the 3A state consolation champion last year.   
 Weiser put runs on the board nearly every inning to win the game 17-7.  On the mound was Lance Albertson who threw four innings and put up 2 hits for five runs, one earned, five walks and seven strikeouts. Isai Herrera came in for the last three innings of play and recorded four hits and two runs, one earned, one walk and five strikeouts.  
 On offense the Wolverines continued on their hitting streak with 13 hits and 12 RBIs.  
 Weston Black led the Wolverines this time in RBIs. Four Wolverines hit .500 during the contest including Paisley Noyer, Kaden LaChapelle, Wyatt Black, and Weston Black.  
 This week the Wolverines will take on Fruitland twice and head to Baker City on Friday.
