West 9th St. project is on track to be completed by April 1

The Weiser bridge on West 9th Street has been undergoing major changes to increase safety and quality of the roadway over the past ten years and is finally nearing a close.
 The project was conceived and started in 2010 by the City of Weiser. Design of the project was completed in April 2019 construction began in Dec. 11, 2020, said Weiser City public works official Mike Campbell. Plans and current construction includes widening the bridge to 40 feet to allow two-car traffic and straightening the steepness of the south-end of the bridge.
