Weiser Chamber of Commerce crab feed was a success

The Weiser Chamber of Commerce long running annual Crab Feed drew a large crowd Saturday evening, April 5. Chamber Board President Crystal Torres said they came very close to selling out the 300 available tickets, adding the Weiser softball team serving crew earned over $1,100 in tips. On Monday, Torres said although she didn’t have a final tabulation from the evening’s auction, she thought it went very well, with one dessert selling for $450. ‘We were serving crab the entire time, and everyone on the board feels it was very successful and it was a good turnout.’ Pictured enjoying their crab and barbecue ribs cooked by Tara’s Place are from left, John Hall and Keith Miller.
