Near the midway point of the second quarter, Walker assisted Brayden Nordgren for a 3-pointer. On defense, Herrera took a hard charge, further boosting Weiser’s momentum. Heading into halftime, Weiser held a 7-point lead, thanks to Kolin Cook’s rebound put-back and a deep 22-foot 3-pointer. The halftime score was 34 to 27.
