Tree planting at City Park

Workers with the City of Weiser were busy last week planting a new tree at City Park. Public Works Director Mike Campbell said the Golden Globe Ginkgo will not only be a nice-looking tree, but will provide good shade for parkgoers. He added that the tree is just one in a plan to plant more in the near future. Some of the trees at the park have reached their life expectancy and are beginning to die and will need to be replaced.
