Lady Wolverines sweep Parma in first match of Homecoming week

 The Lady Wolverines had a successful showing last week, increasing the tallies in the win column, and increasing their standing in the Snake River Valley Conference (SRV) with two conference victories.
 They started out with a road win against the Parma Panthers, sweeping in three sets, 25-18, 25-19, and 25-13.
 The Lady Wolverines started out slow, slipping behind on the scoreboard, but by the fourth rotation, the Lady Wolverines were back in the set 10-10.  Trading points to the 13-13 mark, but they hit their stride, going on a 12-5 scoring run to take the first set.
 In the second set, the Lady Wolverines fell behind early, but trailing 5-9, the Wolverines rallied back trading points to the 16-16 mark. Weiser maintained their momentum through the remainder of the set, scoring 9-2 over the Panthers.
 Staring at a potential sweep, the Lady Wolverines came out in the third and final set very strong, jumping to a 15-8 lead.  The Panthers worked hard, but the Lady Wolverines were unstoppable and surged on to take the set 25-13 and the match 3-0.
 Paisley Noyer led the Lady Wolverines with 6 blocks and 5 service aces. Abi Wilkins added 6 kills and 14 digs, while Jasi Yraguen had 8 kills and 4 blocks.  Bailey Coleman had 12 digs, while Danica Lockett added 12 assists.
Weiser vs. McCall
 Hoping to add to their win streak, the Lady Wolverines hosted the McCall-Donnelly Vandals at Weiser High School.  They had a bit tougher time than their match against the Parma Panthers, but still managed to take the win in 5 sets, 25-22, 16-25, 25-17, 20-25, and 18-16.
 Despite their troubles offensively, the Lady Wolverines filled up the stat sheets with big numbers throughout the roster.  Bailey Coleman was on-fire defensively with 55 digs, while Jasi Yraguen had an impressive 22 kills, followed close behind by Abi Wilkins with 6 kills and an amazing 35 digs. Danica Lockett tallied 38 assists.
