Grant resigns as WHS athletic director

Weiser High School Athletic Director, Tyler Grant, recently announced his resignation.

 After seven years with the Weiser School District, Tyler and his family have decided to take advantage of an opportunity to teach in the Dominican Republic.

 Tyler said that he and wife, Lindsay, will be fulfilling a dream they have talked about for years.

 “At various points in our lives, we thought something like this would be a neat idea,” he told the Signal American last week. “It’s something we looked into doing when we first got married, but it was in China or South Korea and we just weren’t sure about that; but the idea has been on our radar, our thought processes.”

 The recent opportunity came about unexpectedly.
