Weiser’s public library is a highly valued institution

I am pleased to share a few words about the Weiser Public Library and the outstanding team that serves our community each day. The library continues to be one of Weiser’s most valuable public resources – a place where learning, imagination, and community connection thrive.

 Under the leadership of Library Director, Timbra Long, the library has built a welcoming and supportive environment for residents of all ages. Timbra’s dedication to maintaining a vibrant, accessible space for education and enrichment is evident in every aspect of the library’s operations, from its organized collections to its expanding programs and community outreach.

 Supporting her is a devoted team of staff members who ensure the library functions smoothly and efficiently: Lynn Gates, Hilda Camacho, Nola Huey, and Karen Penner. Each of these individuals plays an essential role – assisting patrons, managing materials, maintaining programs, and helping create the friendly atmosphere that makes the Weiser Public Library such a valued institution.

 Together, this team exemplifies professionalism, kindness, and a strong commitment to public service. Their work strengthens our community, supports lifelong learning, and enriches the lives of the community every day.

 We are fortunate to have such dedicated individuals working on behalf of our city, and I extend my sincere appreciation for their continued service.
