Wear a mask and follow the rules for the safety of others

Dear Editor:
Coronavirus masks are uncomfortable, inconvenient and look dorky. In addition, the requirement to wear them is a bit of an invasion of our constitutional rights.
Why should I need one if I am healthy and apparently not infected with the virus. Is the answer that I can spread the disease for a week or more before experiencing effects, if any? Or that I could infect vulnerable people who can suffer serious to fatal effects or financially ruinous medical expenses? Could it be because I believe ignorant, obstinate or self-serving people? Or is it because I just don’t care?
Wear a mask and follow the rules, even if it’s not fun.
