Washington County Veterans will recognize veterans on April 26

 A newly formed group called Washington County Veterans Inc. (WCV) will meet on Tuesday, April 22 at 10 a.m. at the VFW building, 405 E. 2nd St. Veterans  who served in the U.S. Armed Services during any period from WWI to current and their spouses and children are welcome to attend. If you are a spouse or child of a deceased veteran, you are welcomed as well. Washington County Veterans is having a first-time, special event on Saturday, April 26, starting at noon at the Weiser Senior Center, 115 E Main St. It is a potluck for veterans and their families in our county. The WCV will provide the meat. Please bring a side dish and/or dessert to be shared with the group.
