Second half of 2025 property taxes are due Monday, June 22

Washington County Treasurer Sabrina Young reminds property owners that the second installment of 2025 property taxes is due Monday, June 22, 2026. Payments may be made in several convenient ways, but must be postmarked on or before June 22 to avoid late charges.
Residents can pay in person at the County Treasurer’s Office, located inside the Washington County Courthouse at 256 East Court Street in Weiser, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. County offices will be closed Friday, June 19 in observance of the Emancipation Day holiday.
A drop box is available at the front entrance of the Courthouse for after hours payments. Envelopes should be clearly marked for attention to the Washington County Tax Collector.
Online payment options include eCheck (with a $1.00 vendor processing fee) and credit or debit card (with a 2.5% processing fee). Both methods are accessible through the county website at www.co.washington.id.us. Questions may be directed to the Treasurer’s Office at (208) 414-0324 during business hours.
Payments may also be mailed to: Washington County Tax Collector, 256 East Court Street, Weiser, ID 83672.
To ensure timely processing, taxpayers are urged to mail early and request a postmark at the counter. Mail deposited in a receptacle may not receive a same day postmark.
Property owners should include their parcel number with all payments. The number can be found on the original tax bill or reminder notice and is identified as a PIN. Under Idaho Code 63-903, delinquent taxes accrue a 2% penalty and 1% monthly interest beginning Jan. 1, 2026.
