A season of planning, input, and community alley cleanup

We have a lot going on in Weiser this October!

 Last week, Natasha McDaniel, Mike Campbell, and I attended the fall Association of Idaho Cities meeting in Star, Idaho. One of the first topics on the agenda was affordable housing. We came away with a better understanding that times are changing, and smaller homes may be a more affordable and practical option for some people.

 A few months ago, someone asked me about senior housing in Weiser. After hearing some of the ideas discussed at the meeting, I believe this is something worth exploring. If you have ideas or suggestions about affordable housing or senior housing in our community, please let us know. Your input can help us consider what might work best for Weiser.

 Halloween is just a couple of weeks away, and this year it falls on a Saturday! Alley clean up starts this week on the east side of town, have your yard waste out for pickup.
