Research ways to remedy problems

Dear Editor:
Einstein’s Parable of Quantum Insanity, “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result.”
In 1953, Ancil Keyes, PhD, postulated the cholesterol theory as the cause of heart disease. At the time heart disease was the number one killer of Americans.
About the same time, they found an anti-fungal drug, called a statin, would
lower cholesterol in humans. Doctors were quick to repurpose this drug to treat heart disease.
An article in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) in August,1964 proved this theory to be incorrect, but by this time there were huge profits to be made by prescribing statin drugs, and the article was ignored.
For 70 years doctors have been prescribing useless statin drugs to treat heart disease, and in 2023, heart disease is still the number one killer of Americans. Have you thought of Einstein’s parable yet?
At what point will the medical profession slap their heads and say; Wow, this must not be the answer?
There are ways to remedy the problem. You just must do your research.
Hint: start your research with nutrition.
