Marvin David Ford

 Marvin David Ford died Saturday, March 9, 2024 in Weiser, Idaho.
 Marvin was born Jan. 2, 1944 to Clarence David Ford and Alta Evalin Tillotson Ford. He grew up on the family farm west of Weiser.
 After graduating from Weiser High School in 1962 he farmed with his dad. 
 He was drafted into the Army in 1966 and was sent to Vietnam where he was wounded in November of 1967. He was later awarded the Army Commendation Medal with “V” Device along with the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Weiser V.F.W. Post 9088.
 Marvin married Karen Sue (Susie) Brubaker on Sept. 9, 1972 in Weiser, Idaho and they lived on their farm on the Weiser Flat.
 Marvin farmed and did custom farm work for many years.  They moved into their house in Weiser in 2010, where he resided until his death.
 Marvin is survived by his wife, Susie of Weiser, three daughters, Jennifer of Lewiston, ReNae of Nyssa, Ore., and Kim and her husband Geoff along with sons Iain and Zain of Moscow, Idaho and son Corey of Weiser. Sister June Gilstrap and her husband David of Spokane, Wash., sister Treca Scott and her husband Ray of Weiser. Nephews and nieces Wayne and Jennifer Gilstrap and son Jake of Spokane Valley, Wash., Jeff and Meredith Gilstrap and children Daphne and Henry of Spokane, Wash., Caitlin and husband David Cicrich of Lewiston, Idaho and Tyler Scott of Kuna, Idaho.
 Marvin loved to go hunting, but his greatest passion was farming.  No matter what you did for him, he always said “thank you.”
 No services will be held at this time.
