Larry Neil Jeffries

 Sadly Larry Neil Jeffries, 93, died in his home in Payette, Idaho on Dec. 2, 2023, after losing his battle to cancer. 

 Larry was born in Cambridge, Idaho on Dec. 9, 1929, and the family later moved to Payette. 

 He graduated in 1948 from Payette High School and then went on to join the Air Force in 1948 serving as an airplane and jet engine mechanic.

 After being honorably discharged and returning home, he met and married the love of his life, Anna Irene Kreps in 1956. 

 He worked for Idaho Power for 35 years and as a private inspector for 20 years. He then entered the retired life. 

 Larry spent a great deal of his life snowmobiling and hunting with family and friends. He loved to walk and rarely turned down a conversation, cup of coffee, beer, or a fine glass of whiskey. 

 He is survived by his wife, Irene, their children; son Eddie Jeffries and daughter Cindy Jeffries, four grandchildren; Farrah Steiner, Brandon Whaley, Neil Jeffries, and Jessie Vest; six great-grandchildren.  

 Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Nellie Jeffries, his two brothers, Jack and Don Jeffries, and his sister, Donna Thompson. 

 Celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2024.
