Easter egg hunt set for Saturday, April 19

 Hosted on the sprawling open lawns surrounding Weiser’s Church of the Nazarene, located at 510 East Indianhead Road, the 2025 free Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 0-10 will get underway at noon on Saturday, April 19.

 Fields will be designated for each of three age groups, 0-4, 5-7, and 8-10. There will be plenty of both eggs and volunteers to assist and direct Easter revelors to the age-appropriate egg hunting areas.

 Each age-group’s egg scurry will start on a staggered schedule, with each planned  to take approximately 10 minutes. And found among the multitudes of scattered eggs across the fields will be “prize” eggs that will qualify the finder to redeem for an extra special prize. 

 Weiser has a long history of community Easter egg hunts dating back into at least the mid-1900s, with Weiser’s Church of the Nazarene and its members stepping up to serve as the event host starting in 2016.
