Free sports physicals

Weiser Memorial Hospital, Weiser Family Medical Center, and Two Rivers Medical Clinic are offering free sports physicals to all Weiser School District athletes planning to take part in school sports programs.

The long-running annual event will take place at the Weiser High School auxiliary gym, located at 690 W. Indianhead Road, from 5:30 – 8 p.m. on Monday, July 24.

Sports Physical examination consent forms must be signed by a parent or guardian. They are available at the Weiser School District office, at 925 Pioneer Rd., or Family Medical Center, located at 360 E. Liberty.

New for 2023, Southwest District Health will also be onsite with meningococcal and Tdap (tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis) vaccines for those who wish to update their children at that time.

A separate form will need to be signed by a parent or guardian and will be available onsite. Parents are asked to bring their child’s immunization records if possible.

Organizers encourage participants to arrive in the time frame listed below based on the first letter of their last name, and siblings are allowed to go through stations together:

A-D: 5:30 – 6 p.m.

E-J: 6 – 6:30 P.m.

K-P: 6:30 – 7 p.m.

Q-T: 7 – 7:30 p.m.

U-Z: 7:30 – 8 p.m.
