Santa schedules additional appearances in Weiser

Santa recently notified the Weiser Signal American that he has added local appearances to his schedule, giving area children more opportunity to see the world’s most storied toymaker.
Here are the dates of his appearances:
 Friday, Dec. 2 – Santa will participate in the Christmas Night Light Parade and community tree lighting ceremony. He will be available for photos at the Metropole coffee shop, located at 339 State St., following the tree lighting ceremony.
 Wednesday, Dec. 7 – Santa will be at Zions Bank for their annual Lights On ceremony. A class from Pioneer Elementary School will decorate a tree at the bank with Santa visiting at 6 p.m.
 Saturday, Dec. 10 – Peoples Furniture from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
 Saturday, Dec. 17 – Ho-Ho Express to Walmart in Ontario, 8 a.m.
 Saturday, Dec. 17 – Peoples Furniture from 12 to 2 p.m.
 Monday, Dec. 19 – Annex Charter School, 6:30 p.m.
 Tuesday, Dec. 20 – Annex Charter School Express to Bi-Mart in Weiser, 1 p.m.
Night Light Parade:
 The Christmas Night Light Parade, dubbed, “A Magical Eve,” is presented by the Weiser Chamber of Commerce. Organizations, businesses, and families will incorporate working lights into their entries. 
 Parade line up is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Weiser Middle School. Please check in with Parade Coordinator Sally Frye for parking locations and placement.
 Deadline to register is Wednesday, Nov. 30. Call for registration details at (208) 414-0452.
 The parade route will begin at W.M.S. and proceed west to Park Street, then south on State Street, and ends at the Weiser Train Depot where Santa will light the community Christmas tree. Santa then plans to be available for pictures and to visit with children at the Metropole coffee shop, located at 339 State St. in downtown Weiser, following the ceremony.
