Melba R. Laird

Melba R. Laird, 82, of Weiser, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Feb. 7, 2021.
 Her trial and illnesses in life the past five years have been many. Her unwavering courage and bravery is such a great example to all of us.
 Melba was born May 22, 1938, in Payson, Utah to Henry Alonzo Binning and LaRue Nelson Binning.
 Mom loved the great outdoors, gardening, flowers, and had a beautiful yard. Taking care of it with tender hands.
 The love of music was her passion. She loved playing the piano and the organ. She loved needlework of all kinds. She also loved oil painting and shared her artistic talents in many other ways through arts and crafts.
 Mom will be remembered for her compassionate and friendly nature. She loved her friends dearly. She made a positive impact on so many lives. Her independence and straight to the point attitude have been an inspiration to many. Mom was kind, passionate hard working, and will be missed by all.
 She leaves behind her precious loved ones. Husband, Harold Laird, married 65 years. Three children, daughter Rolayne and Greg Ferre, daughter Suzanne and Clint Pew, son Brad H. Laird, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
 Her family was her whole life and it has always been evident of the great love she had for her family.
 She is preceded in death by her parents and sister.
 As per Melba’s request, there will be no funeral services. A special time has been set aside for a celebration of her life, Thursday, Feb.11 at Thomason Funeral home, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please join us as friends and family to spend time and unforgettable memories of Melba.
