Izetta May Servatius Branstetter

Izetta May Servatius Branstetter of Weiser, Idaho, passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, under the loving care of the staff at Weiser Care of Cascadia.
Izetta “Ike” was born March 21, 1934, the daughter of Cyrenius and Della Widener.
She was raised in Weiser and married Joe Servatius Jr., in 1950. She and Joe farmed 80 acres on the Weiser Flat where they raised their five children.
She loved her family and along with all the happy memories, there was always a pot of coffee and great food to welcome the numerous relatives, cousins, friends, and neighbors showing up at the farm. Her love of music inspired her to sing on the radio when she was younger, and her deep love of her faith inspired her to be one of the early pioneers of the diaconate program in Idaho.
After Joe passed away in 2004 she later married Oscar Branstetter of New Meadows, Idaho, and enjoyed the brief time they were together at the Cottages of Weiser, before Oscar also passed away.
She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. We will treasure her memory, which will last a lifetime.
“Ike” is surivived by her five children, Sharon (Larry) Little, Joe (Jenny) Servatius III, Michael (Francis) Servatius, Carolyn (Bud) Fisher, Loraine (Pat) O’Brian, three brothers, Oliver, Jimmy, and Alan with their wives, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
“Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of memories.”
Due to COVID-19, a private service with immediate family members only will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weiser, Idaho under the direction of Lienkaemper-Thomason Funeral Home on Nov. 17, 2020 at 1 p.m.
A special mass to honor “Ike” will be held at a later date.
