Iona M. Botts

(1924-2022)

 Iona Botts of Midvale, Idaho passed away peacefully at her home on Nov. 2, 2022. 

 Iona was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Katie Ausburn, first husband, Clint Burnett, of Des Arc, Ark., her second husband, Kenneth Botts, of Midvale, Idaho, two of her children, Brenda Burnett of Weiser, Idaho, and Jerry Burnett, of Cambridge, Idaho, and one grandson, Clint Burnett of Caldwell, Idaho. 

 Iona is survived by three children, Wanda Davis (Bill Davis) of Weiser, Idaho, Roger Burnett (Carol Burnett) of Frankton, Indiana, and Lynvel Burnett of Oakridge, Ore., 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.  

 Iona loved her family, quilting, and her cats. She loved visiting with family, and the remote life of Midvale. 

 Funeral services will be hosted by Thomason Funeral Home in Weiser, Idaho. The pastors for the service will be Tim and Ronda Cannon. 

 Visitation was Monday, Nov. 7, 2022  from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., the  funeral service was Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 at 1 p.m. with burial following at Salubria Cemetery in Cambridge, Idaho.
