 Colleen was the loving mother of Tim Spaulding, Spokane, Wash. and Jeanine Coriell, Indian Valley, Idaho (husband Darren, children: David and Holly (husband Luis Arellano) Nampa, Idaho. 
 Colleen was Mom to everyone who came through the door. She had a kind and loving heart and saw the good in everyone. 
 She played piano and her children grew up singing with her and playing their instruments. 
 Colleen played piano at Grange meetings, led several Vacation Bible Schools at the Council Congregational Church, was a Cub Scout leader, bookkeeper for her father Don Hodges at Economy Roofing, Council, Idaho, where she and her husband John Spaulding, lived for over 30 years. 
 She painted houses with her brother Malcolm, worked for her sister Donna at Timberline Title and Escrow, Council, Idaho, along with her retired Mother, Panzy Hodges. She also worked at the ORE-IDA Tater Tot plant in Ontario, Ore. 
 She was the wife of a rancher, a road construction flagger, and fire camp worker. Her and John were true Jacks of all trades.
 After retirement Colleen and John enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren and family. They participated in the Weiser Senior Center and enjoyed their time there. Colleen was strong in her faith and bestowed that same faith throughout her family and all that she met. 
 Colleen was born in Boise, Idaho in 1941 and graduated from Borah High School. 
 Colleen is survived by her sister Donna Michael Gigger and her extended family, her Uncle Dean Hodges and family, her son, Tim Spaulding, daughter Jeanine Coriell and family, nephews: Frank Brock and family, Richard Hodges and family, Travis Hodges and family, sister-in-law Judy Spaulding, David Thompson and family, nieces: Sandy Moore and family, Linda Daetsch and family, Carol Veum and family, Mary Olson and family. 
 One of Colleen’s passions was genealogy. She spent many hours with her sister-in-law Lu Bardill, niece Susan Thompson, and many others throughout the years, putting together a very interesting family history.
 Colleen is now with her spiritual family as well as those we have lost over the years, husband John, brother Malcolm, mother Panzy, father Donald, nephews Jason and Mike, nieces Robin and Susan, brothers-in-law Bill, Ed, and sister-in-law Lu.
