Carol Anne Bristow

Carol Anne Bristow was born Dec. 23, 1939, in Phillipsburg, Kansas, to Floyd and Elda Shannon.  Carol slipped away peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her family on June 15, 2022, at her home in Nampa, Idaho.  
 Carol married Frank Bristow, on March 24, 1963. 
 Frank and Carol made their home in Nampa for several years and later moving to the family farm in Ontario (Annex), Oregon.  
 Carol worked for Syme Electric in Weiser. Frank and Carol purchased Mack’s Grocery, a Mom and Pop store. They both worked the store from open to close for 10 years.   Deciding to retire and sale the store, they moved back to Nampa so Frank would be closer to care for his dad.
 Carol loved her family, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was able to meet her youngest great-grandson (Brantley) during her last few days. 
 She enjoyed bowling and camping with family and friends. Frank and Carol traveled to Germany and took many trips on the motorcycle to New Mexico, Canada and all the western states. She enjoyed working in her yard, she had a green thumb for flowers.  She will be missed by family, friends and neighbors.
 Carol is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debbie Skoglun; grandson, Corey Pike; and her sister; Ardis Spriggs of Centralia, Wash.
 Carol is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Frank Bristow; sons,  Jamie (Stacey) Campbell, Weiser, Idaho, Frank Bristow III, Ontario (Annex), Ore., Troy (Sandy) Bristow, Albany, Ore., 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren and one in the oven;  her sister, Roberta Hickman, Caldwell, Idaho, her brother;  Bob Shannon, Rochester, Wash.
 The family would like to thank Keystone Hospice for their wonderful care and kindness they gave Carol and the family.
 Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022, 11 a.m.,  at the Fairview Cemetery, 3956 OR-201 Ontario, Ore. 97914.
