Weiser vs. Fruitland
April 29
The Lady Wolverines traveled to the home of the Fruitland Grizzlies last week for their final league pairing of the regular season, but were unable to get their bats working until the fifth inning.
However, the Grizzlies jumped to an early 14-run lead after two innings that proved insurmountable for the Wolverines.
Madison Phillips started in the circle for the Wolverines, but a trio of hits and three walks enabled the Grizzlies to score five runs in the first inning.
Kali Branstetter and Phillips both found their way to base in the Wolverine at-bat, but a strikeout and a pair of fly outs halted the scoring opportunities.
A second difficult inning for the Wolverine defense allowed the Grizzlies to add another nine runs on six hits.
Despite their best efforts and numerous contacts, the Wolverines struggled to get runners on base, but in the fifth inning, a long ball over the center field fence by Erika Tyree got the Wolverines on the board. Shalee Huggins hit a ball into the grass for a one-bagger, followed by a single by Mecarte Olsen, but only Huggins was able to score before the end of the at-bat and the game 14-2.
Tyree and May Erke led the Wolverines with 1 hit and 1 run each, and Branstetter, Phillips and Olsen all had 1 hit apiece.
Weiser vs. Nampa
May 1
The Lady Wolverines had a rough go of it in their on-the-road pairing against the ladies of Nampa High School and their fast-paced offense.
A walk for Mecarte Olsen and hits by Whitney Cordes and Kaija Thompson brought Olsen across the plate in the third inning for their first and only Wolverine run of the game, but it was no match for the 12 runs that Nampa managed to score.
Olsen had 1 run, while Cordes, Tyree and Thompson each had 1 hit.
Weiser vs. Baker
 May 2
Following a couple of disappointing losses during the week for the Lady Wolverines, the Weiser girls regrouped and took the W in a high-scoring, 19-7 win over the visiting Baker City Bulldogs.
Phillips began in the circle for the Wolverines, and with a strikeout and tough defense, no Bulldogs scored in the first inning, while four hits resulted in four runs for the Wolverines.
The Bulldogs gained a bit of ground in the second inning with three runs off four walks and an error, but the Wolverines pulled it together to maintain their slim lead.  However, during their second inning at-bat, the Wolverines expanded their lead with an added seven runs from hits by Branstetter, Phillips, Makaela Ruiz and Tyree and free bases for Erke, Westi Walker and Olsen.
Leading 11-3, the Wolverines allowed a trio of runs to the Bulldogs, but made up for the lapse with seven runs.
Tyree ripped a shot to the right field fence for three bags that eventually scored on an error for 19 runs. The Bulldogs scored one run in the fifth inning, but the mercy rule went into effect, granting a commanding 19-7 win over the Bulldogs.
