Wendell Lawrence Ader

March 31, 1944 -
March 10, 2025
Wendell Lawrence Ader, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, went to be with the Lord peacefully on March 10, 2025. He was surrounded by loved ones.
He was born in March of 1944 in Council, Idaho, to Grant and Wanona Ader.
Wendell grew up in Midvale, Idaho where he was raised with the love of family, music, and hard ranch work.
Music was a large part of his life. As a late teen he was at the Weiser music festival where he met the love of his life, Karen Cahoon and as Wendell was fond of saying – they met “fiddling around.”
The family would enjoy the rewards of hard work by fishing, riding motorcycles, camping, and horseback riding – it was especially fun to him if family was involved.
Continuing with his love of music, he loved and enjoyed the many country music bands he was involved in.
Wendell is survived by his loving wife Karen, his two boys Randy and Byron, their spouses, eight grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Wendell is deeply loved and will be missed by his family and all who have had the pleasure of knowing him.
A viewing for family only will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at noon at the Church of Christ in Midvale, Idaho.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m., also at the Church of Christ in Midvale. Graveside services to follow. All are welcome.
