Weiser Dolphins host Nampa in home meet at Memorial Park pool on June 29

On June 29, the Weiser Dolphins swim team hosted a home meet against Nampa. It was a successful meet with several of the Dolphins competing for the first time this season.
The Dolphins started out the day with a few successful relay races.
Miley Bumgarner, Spencer Messick, Maddy Capurro and Olivia Lattin finished first in the mixed 8 and under 100 meter medley relay.
Brooks Bumgarner, Nathan Price, Shayd Crossley and Mikey Odette finished third in the boys 11 and under 200 meter medley relay.
Finn Dolton, Ben Hathorn, Devyn Young and Ezra Burkhart finished first in the boys 12 and over 200 meter medley relay.
Weiser also had several top finishers in the individual races.
In the boys 8 and under, Spencer Messick earned first place in the 100 meter individual medley. Messick also took first place in the boys 8 and under 25 meter freestyle with a time of 16:09, first in the 25 meter breaststroke, and 50 meter freestyle.
Zade Dille finished sixth in the 25 meter freestyle and Dylan Dickerson finished fourth in the 25 meter freestyle.
Krew Crossley finished fifth in the 25 meter freestyle, and second in the 25 meter breaststroke.
In the girls 8 and under division, Maddy Capurro took seventh in the girls 8 and under 25 meter freestyle and second place in the 25 meter backstroke.
Miley Bumgarner took eighth in the 25 meter freestyle, fourth in the 25 meter backstroke, second in the 25 meter breaststroke, and fourth in the 50 meter freestyle.
Olivia Lattin finished sixth in the 25 meter freestyle, third in the 25 meter backstroke and third in the 25 meter breaststroke.
Eliana Lattin finished ninth in the 25 meter freestyle.
Khloe Goff finished 10th in the 25 meter freestyle.
Lylah Dille finished 11th in the 25 meter freestyle.
In the boy’s 9-10 division Brooks Bumgarner finished first in the 50 meter freestyle with an impressive time of 40.92 and also took first in the 50 meter breaststroke.
Zayn Crossley finished third in the 50 meter breaststroke and again in third in the 50 meter freestyle.
Nathan Price finished second in the 50 meter freestyle, sixth in the 50 meter breaststroke, and first place in the 100 meter freestyle.
Henry Young finished eighth in the 50 meter freestyle, and took fourth place in both the 50 meter backstroke and the 50 meter breaststroke.
In the girl’s 9-10 division, Brooklyn Dille finished first in the 50 meter breaststroke and fourth place in the 50 meter freestyle.
In the boys 11-12 division, Shayd Crossley took seventh in the 50 meter freestyle and fourth in the 50 meter breaststroke.
Maximus Burkhart took 10th in the 50 meter freestyle and seventh in the 50 meter backstroke.
Max Lattin took first place in the 50 meter breaststroke and second in the 100 meter freestyle.
Mikey Odette finished third in the 50 meter freestyle, third in the 100 meter butterfly, and fourth in the 100 meter freestyle.
In the girls 11-12 division, Evie Dolton took second place in the 100 meter individual medley. Dolton also took first place in the 50 meter freestyle, and in the girls 11-12 50 meter breaststroke.
Ellia Rasmussen finished sixth in the 50 meter freestyle and took fourth place in the 50 meter breaststroke.
In the girls 13-14 division, Isabel Odette took second in the girls 200 meter individual medley, first in the 50 meter freestyle, first in the 100 meter freestyle and second in the 100 meter breaststroke.
Krista Messick took third in the 100 meter breaststroke, second in the 50 meter freestyle, second in the 100 meter freestyle, and she finished first in the 100 meter butterfly.
In the boys 13-14 age division, Ben Hathorn took first in the 200 meter individual medley, first in 50 meter freestyle, and first place in the 100 meter freestyle.
Finn Dolton finished second in the 50 meter freestyle, second in the 100 meter freestyle, and finished in first in the 100 meter breaststroke.
Devyn Young finished third in the 50 meter freestyle, second in the 100 meter breaststroke, and third in the 100 meter freestyle.
Eli Woods finished sixth in the 50 meter freestyle, second in the 100 meter backstroke and fourth in the 100 meter breaststroke.
Ezra Burkhart was Weiser’s only racer in the boys 15-18 division. He finished first in the 50 meter freestyle, first in the 100 meter breaststroke and again in first in the 100 meter freestyle.
At the end of the meet, the Dolphins finished by taking second in the mixed 8 and under 100 meter free relay with swimmers, Miley Bumgarner, Maddy Capurro, Spencer Messick, and Olivia Lattin.
In the boys 8 and under 100 meter free relay, Brooks Bumgarner, Nathan Price, Mikey Odette, and Max Lattin took first place. And the Dolphins once again took first place in the boys 12 and over 200 meter freestyle relay swam by Ezra Burkhart, Ben Hathorn, Finn Dolton, and Devyn Young.
