U of I and BSU to hold winter commencements

Graduating students are eligible to receive a combined 587 degrees this December at the University of Idaho fall commencement. 
 Candidates applied for 430 baccalaureate degrees, 125 master’s degrees, 25 doctoral degrees, four law degrees and three specialist degrees.
 A total of 578 students statewide are eligible for graduation from U of I this semester. 
 Fall commencement will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec., 8 in the ASUI-Kibbie Activity Center at Moscow. 
 Lineup for commencement begins at 11:30 a.m. Doors open for the public at 11 a.m. General seating in the Kibbie Dome is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. 
 No tickets are required. Premium seating is available through the U of I Ticket Office, via phone at 208-885-7212 or email at tickets@uidaho.edu.  
 Guests with disabilities may contact Events and Support Services at 208-885-7353 prior to the ceremony for accommodations.
 Boise State University’s winter Commencement will honor graduates with a traditional ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, in Taco Bell Arena. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. No tickets are required.
 In total, 1,989 students are eligible for 2,281 degrees and certificates. Of those, 383 students are eligible for honors: 219 cum laude, 146 magna cum laude and 18 summa cum laude.
 A reception for graduates and their families will be held immediately following the ceremony in the Student Union Building.  
 Each college and school will have a designated area where you can meet with family and friends after the ceremony. 
 Parking is free all day. This includes all general and reserved parking lots, pay lots and parking garages on campus. There will be limited parking near Taco Bell Arena. Shuttles to and from the Lincoln Parking garage will run throughout the event.
