General elections are scheduled for Nov. 7, 2023. Serving the community through public office is one way to give back and to become a leader, guiding things l like education and growth. Below is a list of the many seats in Washington County taxing districts that are up for election.
The deadline for filing a declaration of candidacy (official notification of your intent to run) is 5 p.m., on Sept. 8, 2023 for cities, and Sept. 15, 2023 for other taxing districts.
Write-in candidate deadline is also Sept. 8, 2023.
Candidate applications can be picked up at city offices.
