by Philip A. Janquart
Weiser’s first baby of 2022 arrived at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5 at Weiser Memorial Hospital.
According to parents Bryan and Camellia Langdon, their baby girl, Anngelyna, was born 8 pounds, 14 oz., and was 20-inches long. The couple have now been blessed with a total of six children.
Camellia was raised in Annex, Ore. and graduated from Weiser High School in 2005. Bryan was born and raised in New York.
Valerie Donicht, of Xi Nu Sorority in Weiser, presented the proud couple with a basket of baby items meant to make life a little easier as they settle in with their new arrival. The basket contained diapers, clothing, and a host of other baby-related items.
Xi Nu is an active service group belonging to Beta Sigma Phi. Established in the 1930s, the local chapter has provided gift baskets to parents of the first year’s baby for around 40 years. Xi Nu has many service projects each year that benefit the people of Weiser.
