The Weiser Public Library is providing a great service to our area. HM Consulting comes to the library two times a week to provide much needed information on electronic devices. Herbert Miller is the teacher/consultant.
Miller has a great down to earth approach. He will answer your questions and help you through any computer questions you may have. You do not need to sign up in advance, just show up.
On Monday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., he is there to answer any questions you may have about your computer, your tablet, your phone or any other electronic device. He’s very personable and knowledgeable. I recently attended a session and not having been born into computer technology, I needed some help with my phone. He took less than five minutes to help me. There were several other patrons in the room waiting their turn for help.
On Thursday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., he hosts a class. This week’s class is for anyone who is just becoming familiar with their computer, and will include instruction on navigation, as well as answer any questions a learner might have. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to build on what they already know, but want to get more out of their computer.
To find out what he will be teaching each week, contact the Library and they will hook you up with Miller to be added to his email list.
