Lady Wolverines take tough match against Baker

The Lady Wolverines began their regular season play last week by hosting the visiting Baker City Bulldogs.  
 According to varsity head coach Lindsay Grant, it was a hard-fought battle, but the girls managed to come away with the win in four sets: 27-25, 28-26, 15-25 and 25-21.  
 Leaders for the night were Grace Soulen with 8 kills and 5 aces, Reagan Doty with 9 kills, Macey Buescher with 25 digs, and Ciana Fuller with 15 assists.
 In addition to the varsity win, the JV team won in straight sets and the frosh/soph team won in two sets.
