Lady Wolverines go 1-1 in two match week

Weiser’s Lady Wolverines volleyball team played two matches last week, the first on Tuesday in Weiser against the McCall-Donnelly Vandals.  Weiser High School’s Lady Wolverines volleyball team played two conference opponents last week, pushing Tuesday night’s match with McCall-Donnelly to four tight games for a 3-1 loss, and overpowering Payette’s Lady Pirates in three on Thursday.
Weiser vs McCall 1-3
 The Wolverines lost the first two games against the Vandals, 23-25 and 19-25, before coming back in the third for a 25-22 win. The match ended in the fourth game with McCall-Donnelly taking a 25-20 win.
 In the serve receive position, Abi Wilkins went 89 percent in passes and had eight kills. Danica Lockett served one ace and had 15 assists. Paisley Noyer served one ace, had 10 kills, and completed two blocks. Kamryn Doty had five kills, with an attack ratio of .364. Madi Wilkins recorded 16 assists.
Weiser vs Payette 3-0
 In Thursday’s match at Payette, the Wolverines dominated the Pirates with scores of 25-8, 25-8, and 25-14.
 Rylee Roberts served one ace, and dug 100 percent of the nine balls hit at her. Noyer served three aces, had four kills, and one block. M. Wilkins served two aces and had 12 assists. A. Wilkins served one ace and had 11 kills. Hailey Eames served two aces and had five kills, and Danica Lockett is credited with 11 assists.
