Lady Wolverines drop first game of the season 70-30 to Melba Mustangs

One of the best teams around, the Mustangs beat the Lady Wolverines 70-31 in the nonconference game. The Weiser team was shorthanded and is learning a new system, coach Nick Reed said. The Weiser girls went to Caldwell to take on the Cougars on Tuesday night and will return for a non-conference game against New Plymouth on Thursday. The Lady Wolverines will play their first SRV Conference game on Dec. 18 against Parma.
