Christmas Night Light Parade Friday, Dec. 2

Although Santa is currently busy making toys at his shop at the North Pole in preparation for Christmas, he has recently announced that he is taking time out of his schedule to visit Weiser.
On Friday, Dec. 2, he will be taking part in the Christmas Night Light Parade, dubbed, “A Magical Eve,” presented by the Weiser Chamber of Commerce.
Organizations, businesses, and families will incorporate working lights into their entries.
The chamber is asking a $20 donation for all entrants. The money will benefit a local organization that helps with community food insecurities. Parade line up is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Weiser Middle School. Please check in with Parade Coordinator Sally Frye for parking locations and placement.
Deadline to register is Wednesday, Nov. 30. Call for registration details at (208) 414-0452.
The parade route will begin at W.M.S. and proceed west to Park Street, then south on State Street, and ends at the Weiser Train Depot where Santa will light the community Christmas tree.
Santa then plans to be available for pictures and to visit with children at the Metropole coffee shop, located at 339 State St. in downtown Weiser, following the ceremony.
