Barbara Trinkaus

Barbara is survived by her husband Ray Trinkaus, her sons Andy Wicks and Jeff Wicks, her daughters-in-law Jodi Wicks and Shannon Strothman (married to Jeff Strothman and loved by Byna), her grandchildren Heather Buchholz (married to Casey and loved by Byna) and Cameron Strothman and her 5-month-old great-granddaughter Jeri Lou Buchholz. Hey...let’s not forget about her great friends Judy, Judy and Jackie.
Barbara was born to Troy and Hester Webb. She was the middle child of her big sister Janis and her baby brother Tom. She grew up mainly in the South.
Raised in Arkansas, she eventually moved to California and then to Idaho, where she had two wonderful sons. Although we didn’t start out wonderful,
she saw our potential. Under her love, guidance and that giant wooden spoon (believe me when I write this...we had it coming), we eventually got there.
She was kind, loving, patient, sassy and enjoyed good people, her friends and family.
She loved her sports too. The Boise State Broncos and the Portland Trailblazers. It truly was something else to watch that little woman run around and celebrate during an exciting game.
Everyone has or had a mom. She may have been a good one or a bad one. My brother and I had the opportunity to have a great one. Not only that...
she was a great wife, mother-in-law, grandma (Byna), great-grandma and friend.
Written by Andy for my mom (I still get to see you in my daughter...Thank you).
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., March 21, 2025 at Dakan Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
